This listing is for a RARE Vintage Quaker Oats man promotional advertising toby mug or pitcher manufactured by Wood and Sons China in England for the centenary of the Quaker Oats man trademark in 1977.
Comes with the original certificates included with the mug. See pics.
It is a limited edition piece and is number 768 of 2,600 and is marked on the bottom, and has some shelf wear from its age. The Quaker Oats man has a handle on his back and a spout at the top front of his hat. He has glaze crazing and there is a tiny fleabite at the bottom edge from manufacturing. He displays beautifully. These are quite difficult to find. It stands 6 3/8" high by 4 1/4" wide by 5 1/2" deep (including the handle).

advertising, or China collection.
